Hey there,

The two biggest design tools just trained their own AI to edit your designs.

I think editing, not generating, is where AI starts saving designers real time. Here's what's inside this week:

  • New video: 5 design inspo websites every vibe coder needs

  • Big news: Canva launches Brush, an AI that edits your designs

  • The toolkit: PulseDev, a product demo skill and hand-drawn shadcn/ui

  • Tutorial: build your own design tools for free

I connect the Mobbin MCP to Codex so the agent studies real landing pages before it designs, then share four more inspo sites for micro-interactions, app icons, brand guidelines and pitch decks.

WHAT I'M BUILDING

I rebuilt Logiaweb to put everything in one place

The new Logiaweb platform

Over the past two years, I've made a lot of content for you.

I wrote workflow guides, tutorials and 70 issues of this newsletter. But they were scattered across Notion pages, posts and old emails.

So I took the time to rebuild Logiaweb from scratch.

It's now one platform with my guides, the tools I use to design and build with AI, and the skills I install in Claude Code.

You sign up once, and you don't need to look anywhere else.

I'm also working on a free course. You can join the waitlist on the platform today.

On a personal note, I'm still in Bali for one more week before a short trip.

And we're cooking two big things for Limora AI and Stage. Both are going MCP-first, so you can use them straight from Claude Code or Codex without learning a new app UI.

BIG NEWS

Canva just built an AI that edits your designs

Canva Brush

On Thursday, Canva launched Brush, a new AI model built by its own research team.

Last week, Canva shipped Craft, a model that creates images. Brush does the other half of the job. It edits the designs you already have.

It looks at your design, understands how it's built, and makes the change you ask for. That can be one line of copy or every slide in a deck.

Under the hood, it writes and runs code to move real elements, then checks the page before its next step. So everything it touches stays editable.

Canva says it's up to 69% faster and 46% cheaper per edit than its previous design agent.

It's live now in Canva AI for Canva Pro users, and Brand Kit support is coming next.

❝

Generating a design is easy now. Editing it without breaking it is the real job.

The same day, Figma shared how it trained its own editing model for the Figma agent.

Two design tools made the same bet in the same week. They don't want to rent a general chatbot anymore. They train models on real design work.

For designers, that's the part that matters. Most of our time goes into changes, not first drafts.

An AI that respects your layers and your layout saves real hours.

Try it: Open a deck in Canva, pick Brush in the Canva AI dropdown, and ask it to restyle every slide.

THE TOOLKIT

One tool, one skill and one library

Tool · PulseDev

Free plan · Mac app
Click any element on your local site and say what's wrong. Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI or OpenCode then edits the source, and nothing changes until you approve the diff. It's free for one project, so you can try it on your next build today.

PulseDev

Skill · Stageshow

Free · Agent skill
Benji Taylor built it to help your agent make product UI that looks like the real thing, like hero demos, feature cards, cursor demos and bento grids in React. It films the result so the agent can check its own work, and it's going viral on X right now.

Product UI made with Stageshow

Library · Looseleaf

Free · Open source
It's shadcn/ui, drawn by hand. You get 123 components and 61 blocks that look drawn on paper, and they keep the same parts and props as shadcn/ui, so you can swap them in without touching your code.

TUTORIAL OF THE WEEK

Build your own design tools for free

Most of us pay for small design tools we only use for one task.

Toolcraft is a free, open-source starter kit that turns Claude Code into a design tool builder. Designers already use it for 3D photo galleries, glass effects and ice photo effects.

Step 1 · Paste one command

Copy the install command from the Toolcraft site and paste it into Claude Code. Then describe the tool you want, like one that turns any photo into a brick mosaic.

Step 1: paste the Toolcraft command into Claude Code

Step 2 · Let the AI build it

Claude builds your tool with ready-made sliders, color pickers and controls made for design work. You don't have to design the interface yourself.

Step 2: the AI builds the tool with sliders and color pickers

Step 3 · Upload, adjust and export

Upload your image, play with the settings and export the result. It won't replace Figma or Canva, but it's perfect for the design tasks you repeat every week.

Step 3: upload, adjust and export
