WHAT IβM BUILDING
Behind the Scenes
I wrote most of this from Ibiza. I took some time off this week, but I kept the routine going: work in the morning, then out to discover the island and catch a few sets from DJs I love. The perfect entrepreneur holiday.
On the work side, we fully launched the new Limora Brand Kit, and the prompt system is now way more optimized. I mentioned this last week, and the early user feedback has been completely different this time around. If you tried Limora before and felt the generations weren't there yet, try it again. It's a strong, noticeable jump. You can upload your own products, you get far more control over your brand kits, and the AI images and videos come out much better.

BIG NEWS
Claude Opus 5, the Model That Lets You Decide How Hard It Thinks
This is the first frontier model that turns "cost vs quality" into a dial you control per task, and if you build with Claude, that quietly changes everything.
Anthropic shipped Claude Opus 5 on July 24. Two things matter for designers. First, there's a new effort control: a low / medium / high toggle you set per request. Low is fast and cheap for routine work, high lets it think longer on the hard stuff. Second, it lands near the top of every benchmark while keeping the same price as before ($5 per million input tokens, $25 output), so you're getting more model for the same spend. It's now the default on Claude Max and the strongest option on Claude Pro.

My take
Most of us don't read models as benchmarks anymore. We read them as bills. The effort toggle is the real story because it hands you the tradeoff you were already making in your head. Renaming a batch of layers or writing boilerplate? Run it on low and pay pennies. Building a full landing page in Claude Code or debugging a gnarly component? Crank it to high. You stop overpaying for easy work and stop under-powering the hard work. For designers who now ship real code with AI, that's the difference between "fun toy" and "tool I run all day."
How to use it
Open Claude, switch to Opus 5, and get in the habit of setting effort before you prompt. Default to low or medium for everyday tasks, save high for anything you'd normally sit and sweat over. You'll feel the cost difference by the end of the week.

TOOL OF THE WEEK
Notion Agents

Your AI teammates live inside Notion, but you don't. You're away from the desk, an idea hits, and by the time you're back it's gone.
Notion Agents is a new standalone iPhone app that puts your custom Notion agents in your pocket. You chat with them to pull answers from your workspace, capture ideas by text, voice, or photo, and let the agents file everything in the right place. It works with Claude, Gemini, and GPT.
How I'd use it
Capture on the move: Voice-note a concept or snap a reference, and let an agent file it into the right project automatically.
Triage before you sit down: Ask your agent what needs attention today so you open your laptop already knowing the plan.
Draft on the go: Kick off a client update or a page from your phone, then polish it later at the desk.
